The moment when you were only gone for 15 minutes to go across the street for ChineseTake Out to "save time" & "sanity"....you are greeted with mom don't look downstairs.🙈 Then reassured discipline already was taken care of. Let's eat right away. 😳
So what can possibly happen in 15 minutes you say? Well somehow the tiniest little precious Legos you know the sets we have separated so neatly in separate freezer bags & again the tiniest cutest little iddy bitty pieces you would love to pick up one by one & enjoy every second were scattered like confetti on the basement floor.
And whose to blame? I got multiple answers of course. First it was the Lego sets of course. Why were they there? (Yep the Lego sets collecting dust on the top shelf just jumped right off & begging to be flung like the candy in a parade)
Second the twins of course it happened within seconds by the time we got there it was too late (I get it.. blame it on them they are the youngest, little dare Devils, who scatter things for a living, professional demolition partners, & heck what a hoot let's find humor in this ...plus they can claim they didn't know any better ha!)
The biggest mystery of all & I'm no investigator by any means but if it took seconds to scatter why on earth would the pieces still be on the floor for me to see?!?!?! Hmm....There was no cover up which is even more mysterious.
So as everyone is napping for my short short few minutes of quiet, I venture to the basement floor to sit in the middle of it all, breath, & blog cause what else can you do before you joyfully pick up each & every piece of yes again the precious little Legos before your vacuum does.
