It's the LITTLE things in Life

34
Boyz and their mamas what can I say.... I'm blessed beyond measure. At 2 years old, Mr. Bennett knows to find me a chair at any cost pulling, dragging the chair through obstacles. He saw I was standing while talking to grandma & on top of it hands me my phone. It's that little gesture that made a huge difference to me- one time! I allowed it to. It moved me. I won't forget it. So this blog is touching the iddy biddy surface of the "little things" in life.

So that was just one "little" example of a Boyz love for their mama. Point being that it's the little things that mean the world to us but also the little things we get caught up in & have to learn to "let go" in order to move on. So no matter what - when it comes to it- don't allow yourself to get caught up in the small things- realize they do count, shape & mold us but essentially it's how we "store" them. Do we hang on too tightly, do we repeatedly replay something in our mind, do we allow them to affect our mood or attitude or decisions, OR do we quickly acknowledge, learn, let go, & move on which is so so so much easier said than done!

So it's a process... It's a learn Practiced, a repeated Process that we need to actively use each day. It's like getting an closet organizer or those new closet systems for our beautiful creative minds. It makes it easier & quicker for us to pull out the "good stuff"  when needed especially because we know where it's at now. We strategically placed it.  We will need to make a conscience effort to store these correctly & effectively. But most of all, it's our due diligence to ourselves to actively practice the art of releasing, letting go the negative, deleting the unwanted stuff like those "cookies" on the computer that just take of space sometimes blocking us from storing the "good stuff" on our mind's "me cloud".

So let's work on it together. No one has this down perfectly but we can make the best darn try of giving ourselves the best opportunity to live a life not governed by the "little things".
