Women when it comes to many things in life we multitask... And we say there is just no time for exercise in our crazy schedule. BUT Let's bring our multitasking ability into our workout lives. Exercise & endurance is much more than a 1/2 - 1 hr at the gym. It is time to infiltrate exercise in all our daily lives from the moment we wake up.  Then at the end of the day, you lived, ate well & even exercised without stepping foot in the gym. This doesn't replace the gym altogether but we have the ability to incorporate exercise throughout the day. Make sense?

Mama Dee's Home Remedy Fitness is a way to build fast stamina, each activity creates energy that in return builds muscle, burn calories, and most of all builds stamina (healthy heart).

1. Brush Squats- What do you do while brushing your teeth, brushing your hair or blowing drying your hair??? Why, it's a perfect opportunity to get a mini leg workout in during this time so squats & pulse, lunges, split squats with a toilet seat nearby, dips, there are so many options. 

2. Target Run-  Park your vehicle furthest away jog or brisk walk in. Time yourself. Set a limit so you continue to keep up the pace even while in store. No browsing on this trip. 

3. Social Media Plank- if you are going to surf social media, do a plank for 30 second, then 1 minute and so on. Side plank right, side plank left. Repeat. 

4. Pump Up the Dishes- flex abs & heel raises while washing dishes or drying or even cooking. 

5. Dishwasher Twist & Squat- grab dishes out of sink, flex abs, twist and squat to place dish in dishwasher. Repeat. This can be reversed for emptying the dishwasher. 

6. Do the Shuffle- if you are cleaning, picking up toys, bringing items to their rightful places shuffle from point A to point B and reverse. Side step it ladies. Get low. Let those outer thighs burn. 

7. Dance Party AM or PM- who says you need a guest for a home dance party? Put music on, feel the beat, put a pep in your step, groove to your move, grab a wooden spoon & sing along. Burn those unwanted calories. Have a dance party with the kids! Who can make up the silliest dance which is usually "the crazy dance" & brings heart rate up. Fat burning mode yay! 

8. Laundry 5k- take one basket up the stairs at a time, save your back and get more cardio in with climbing up & down steps multiple times. If you are feeling on top of things, do some dead lifts with the laundry basket then leave basket on the ground & one push up back. Deadlift, plank, push-up, jump back up!! Repeat! 

9. Bedtime Leg Raises - lay on your back on the floor,  grab edge of bed over head, and lower both legs parallel to floor, quickly pull up with core, and repeat. You can keep legs together or split legs raises. Keep lower back pressed to floor. 

10. Movie Marathon- side squats from right to left and left to right. Squat double for larger effect and hold. Side plank for 30-60 seconds, then switch sides. "All in" now do 5 grown up push-ups, child pose & repeat. 

Ok mamas, no excuses on no time for exercise. We just need to incorporate it into what we are already doing. Take stairs instead of elevator, bring lunch instead of buying, and so on. 

These tips & tricks are designed for everyday life & right from your own home. No equipment necessary. Requirement multi-tasking.
